The service bodies attach to the truck bed anchors, locking them in place without permanently altering the truck bed or SpaceKap unit. This helps improve the truck's resale value and enables you to reuse your SpaceKaps on multiple trucks.
SpaceKap Service Bodies come in three different styles depending on your needs.
Compak
The Compak is a low-profile service body, which is ideal for fleets working in the city or navigating underground parking lots. The Compak also offers side panel doors, enabling crews to access tools, parts, and equipment outside the truck.
Wild
The Wild service body has an interior height of 53 inches, enabling crews to climb into and comfortably move around inside. In addition, side panel doors allow you to access tools and equipment outside the truck.
Diablo
The Diablo is the Big Daddy of service body options. It includes 75 inches of cargo headroom, providing a lot of space for maneuvering inside and storage, including room over the truck's cab.
SpaceKap Accessories
SpaceKap offers various accessories to improve your service body's functionality and usability. This includes shelves, racks, drawers, lights, and more. The most common accessories Messer installs are:
- Shelving: Shelving solutions can be configured and installed in your SpaceKap to your specifications. This includes drawers and bins for better organization.
- Ladder Racks: Made of aluminum or steel, SpaceKap offers a variety of ladder rack options to safely secure ladders without sacrificing space or comfort. Racks install on the side or roof of the SpaceKap, and dropdown racks are available for less strain loading and offloading.
- Sliding Trays: Sliding trays install on the floor of the SpaceKap. These trays easily slide out nearly the full length of the bed, giving crews easy access to equipment and material stored in the back. Slide Trays are ideal for the Compak SpaceKap, which offers minimal headroom.
